SeaWorld Theme Park - Orlando, Florida

My family has frequented Florida ever since I was a baby for a variety of reasons.  We travel there at least once a year if not more so I almost feel as though I am no longer a tourist but a temporary resident.  I even had several friends live there throughout and after college.  So when we decided to take our yearly trip this year I decided it was time to start sharing all the exciting activities there are for people to do when they visit.

One of the experiences you just don't want to miss out on is visiting Sea World.  It is just one of those places that kids are completely amazed with.  It gives them the opportunity to see the world in a whole new light.

SeaWorld has all sorts of sea life including sharks, dolphins, whales, penguins, stingrays, and sea turtles.  There is a combination of rides to enjoy, shows with wonderful tricks, up close and personal attractions which the kids could actually reach out and touch something from the sea, as well as just enjoying some quality family time no matter what your families age is!

The kids favorite part was the shark aquariums since we are huge fans of the popular shark week.  They also really enjoyed being able to walk through the glass tunnels feeling like they were very much part of the water world.   Its as extremely exciting in these pots where they could peak their heads into the little domes to get a closer look at everything.

The shows we're great and the kids absolutely loved being able to watch the orcha's do the tricks as they hopped from the water.  Our only complaint was that of our own as we decided to head to the sea lion show extra early to get an up close seat and it happened to be the hottest time of day and with the seating not being covered the children were miserable waiting in the sun.

Entry Cost: Single-Day Admission
$92.00 for guests age 10+
$84.00 for guests ages 3 through 9

Recommendation:  This is one of those parks that even though I hadn't been to since I was little, I still remember it as one of those cherished memories!  I was very happy to be able to do the same for my children and recommend you do too!!
