Alite Designs Mayfly Chair and Clover Cook Set Review

Although Michigan doesn't allow for a long summer season, you will find us outdoors six out of seven nights a week and from the first remotely warm day (above 60 degrees outside) to the first day of snow camping or participating in outdoor sports if we can.

Our falls are perfect camping and bonfire weather.  We also spend the majority of our Summers at sporting events, beaches and parks.  Being that we are so active (and usually with children) packing light for these things is always a necessity.  Although, that doesn't mean not being prepared.

While messing around online a few weeks ago I discovered the company Alite Designs.  This creative company carries a variety of outdoor products and gear.  They believe in things like "city living is a lame excuse for being cooped up. Magical outdoor fun is all around us, no matter the location."  Words of wisdom in my opinion!

Alite Designs graciously sent me over their new Mayfly Chair and the Clover Cook Set to review.  The Clover Cook Set is a neat outdoor utensil made 100% BPA-free and recyclable.  But the best part is this is 3 tools in one - a spoon, a spatula, and combined together it becomes a set of tongs!  These are not only dishwasher safe but heat resistant up to 400°F.
Mayfly Chair
The Mayfly Chair is the perfect accessory for anyone on the go! This is a collapsible chair that only weighs a whopping 1.4 lbs yet can hold up to 250 lbs.  Use the removable front leg to rock the chair comfortably or keep it attached to stay stable. Regardless of the activity this chair folds up small enough to fit in your bag or backpack without even noticing it!

My children fell in love with this chair even though it wasn't meant for them initially.  The boys have been using it to sit in while at home playing video games and it has made for an easy carry along to the parks too!

Available to purchase/Cost:  $20 Clover Cook Set
$100 Mayfly Chair
Recommendation:  These are both going to last a long time plus they come with a lifetime guarantee!  The items at Alite Designs would make a great gift idea for the outdoorsy person in your life.  My only complaint is the prices are too high even for the quality and guarantee.

  1. That chair looks like it would definitely be nice to have for the kids because they could climb right up in it and take themselves a nap. And $20 is a lot of money for a small chair like that if you ask me but of course I am a bit of a tight wad too.
