Boxxle Premium BIB Wine Dispenser Review and #Giveaway

There a few things you must know about me by now especially if you've read my blog before!  I am both a green free living chick as well as a socialite who loves drinking with friends, family, and especially my girlfriends!  We all have different tastes and styles and of course opinions (as I don't expect everyone to be an environmentalist just because I am).

A while back my Mom actually started drinking boxed wine which I always found to be pretty funny as we drank it in college because it was cheap.  We would play games like "slap the bag" or have box wine races and I definitely never thoughts I would see it in my post college years.  I always thought of boxed wine as less than classy until I really started getting into the whole green/eco-friendly lifestyle.

I recently discovered an awesome gadget for the kitchen that I knew would go perfectly with our lifestyle especially hanging out poolside throughout the Summers!  "Boxxle is a high quality, attractive dispenser designed to solve all of the problems of “boxed wine” and allow you to enjoy your delicious BIB wine with style and ease."

There are tons of benefits to boxed wine that I think most people are unaware of since I truly believe a lot of people thing the same way I do about it and its "quality/class".  Not only does boxed wine have 85% less packaging waste and 79% less Greenhouse Gas emissions but the box is 100% recyclable and in most areas so is the bag!

Because BIB wine is vacuum-sealed, there is no potential for cork taint and the wine will stay fresh for up to six weeks after opening.  Also, "The quality of wine available in BIB packaging has increased dramatically since the 3 Liter introduction and BIB wines are consistently earning awards and garnering great reviews from critics."

So back to why Boxxle is such a great tool to have in your home!  This stylish an eye appealing dispenser can hold most 3-liter BIB wines or even other fruit juices.  I love the easy lift up technology it uses so I don't have to worry about tipping the box after having a few glasses.

Not only does this look much classier but it is a much more functional way to drink your boxed wine.  We even decided for the days out by the pool, that all we had to do was toss in an freezer pack or two (at the top and bottom) and carry it outside to keep our wine nice and chilled in the warm weather!!  Because my mother has been the primary boxed wine drinker in our family she quickly stole this from me so I see another purchase in the near future for my home as well!

Available to purchase/Cost:  $100 Boxxle http://www.boxxle.com/product.php
Recommendation:  I love this product and the whole idea being the company!  My only complaint is that this is quite pricey in my opinion.  For this price point I would at least expect some sort of cooling factor included even if it was a freezer pack of some sort.  This is a great accessory to have in any home even if you don't drink boxed wine on a regular basis.

  3. What a great way to hide that "cheap" wine. This is actually pretty neat looking and something that I wouldn't mind having sitting out on my counter. I love that you can put cold packs in it also.
